In Holmavik you can rent a bike. The bike rental is situaeted at the information center. there are nice biking trails around Holmavik. also it is popular to go biking to village Drangsnes or to Laugarholl in Bjarnarfjörður for swimming in geothermal hot springs.

The Tourist Information Center in Holmavik is open again for the summer. Opening hours will be every day from 09:00 - 18:00. There you will get every information you need a for travelling in Strandir and the whole Westfjords. The Museum of Icelandic Sorcery & Witchcraft has the same entrance as well as the café, Kaffi Galdur. Souvenir shop is also at the center and across the street where locals sells all kind of handcraft.
